Volunteer
CCPA hosts a variety of projects and events throughout the year and we rely on the generosity of our members to continue our service. Projects may vary from collecting feedback surveys during the drive-in conference to sharing your experience with new professionals. Please join our growing list of volunteers.

Resume Reviewer
Serve as a mentor to new, young and searching professionals. Offer your keen eye as a future employer to those who are seeking out positions. Give them feedback on how to improve and bolster their resume. If you are interested in this please fill out the volunteer form for Resume Reviewers. Volunteers set their own frequency and can opt in or out as needed. Help make a difference in the organization. Every small step helps.
Article Submissions
Professionals interested in contributing may submit articles from a ranging from first-person experiences, best practices, and/or research based work.

Host a Coffee & Conversation
CCPA would like to encourage healthy dialogue and discourse about relevant Student Affairs topics especially in difficult economic times. If you would like to host a coffee & conversation, simply let us know when and where and we will share it with the community.

Meet ‘n Greets
Professionals interested in gathering socially can host an event in their area. Some examples include museum nights at a discounted rate, gathering at a local coffee shop to network with area professionals, or attending a local art/music festival as a group.

Leadership Team
The Leadership Team handles all business of the Association, recommends policies to its members and carries out activities that support its membership. There are 8 elected officers and 9 appointed leaders, comprising the Leadership Team. Elected officers shall be installed for a minimum of two years following the election into office.

Standing Committees
Professional Development Committee
The professional development committee shall act as the advisory body to the Leadership Team in the consideration of educational, professional and career development matters. The committee shall also assume responsibility for coordinating and implementing workshops offered at different locations throughout the State as well as at the annual meeting.

Conference Planning Committee
The conference planning committee shall create, design and implement the annual drive-in conference while preserving the values of the Association. The committee shall assume responsibility of identifying a host location, marketing the event, facilitating the program submission process, and event coordination.

Membership Committee
The membership committee shall act as the advisory body to the Leadership Team on matters related to membership recruitment and outreach. The committee shall also coordinate the membership recruitment and outreach efforts of the Association.
